Here's a list of my favorite drummers:

Steve Gadd - groove-wise, sticking techniques...
Danny Carrey - hard-hitting!!, effective syncopated beats, love the kit...
Chad Smith - simple rock beats, also hard-hitting...
Jojo Mayer - single pedal technique, syncopated beat for techno music
