Velvet Revolver To Reunite With Scott Weiland Next Week

(Banana 101.5) Scott Weiland has apparently buried the hatchet with his former bandmates in Velvet Revolver and they have agreed to perform together for a one-off show honoring late composer John O' Brien.
While it may not be the reunion news involving Slash and Duff McKagan you were hoping for, the one night only reformation of VR is surprising considering how things ended for the supergroup that formed in 2003.

Blabbermouth reports that Weiland will return to front Velvet Revolver for a brief performance on January 12th at the House of Blues in West Hollywood. The event titled 'Love You Madly: A Concert For John O' Brien' will honor the recently deceased film/TV composer.
